The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, FCPA has assented to the year 2024 Budget presented to him in his office by the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Kayode Kehinde Akinsola.
Ogunsola reiterates his commitment to the delivery of quality infrastructural development across twelve wards of the local government.
He further stressed that, all ongoing projects and already completed projects will be Commissioned by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, by May when the State Governor will be marking a year in office of his Second term.
Earlier, Hon. Kayode Kehinde Akinsola, Leader of the Legislative Council applauded the Executives, led by a pragmatic council boss for working in unity with the legislative arm,which over the years has brought so much development in delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of the grass roots.
He therefore prayed for continuous cooperation amongst the political office holders, carrier and the public as a whole.
Others in attendance at the signing of the budget includes, Hon. Titus Olusesi, Vice Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Chief Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to Local Government, Head of Local Government Administration Mr. Fatai Ogundele, Supervisors,Councillors to mention but few.
