ASLG CHAIRMAN, MAJEKODUNMI WARNS TRADERS TO AVERT DISPLAY OF WARES ON WALKWAYS, ENSURE CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

Traders displaying wares on pedestrian walkways in Abeokuta South Local Government have been vehemently warned today Tuesday 23rd of May, 2023 by the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP to avoid displaying of various of wares on roads in the Local Government Area, equally urged them to ensure clean environment. 

Hon. Majekodunmi said this during a live broadcast on Splash FM 106.7 at 5pm called "OJUABE" which spanned for 1 hour 30minutes; deeply stated that separate committees had been inaugurated in the LG Secretariat to statutorily discipline incompliant traders who ostentatiously having their wares on the walkways  
He added that their goods would in the first place prevented from sales, if caught by the task force team.

 While responding to the questions asked by the callers who beyond into the studio, said ASLG would no longer tolerate the act of deficient display of wares on the pedestrian walkways and as this could pose danger to the lives and those of other road users most especially those in Adatan, Omida, Panseke and Ijaye gbagba market.

Hon. Majekodunmi, with kind-hearted mind urged them to keep away from the walkways and roads so that there would not be a point of traffic congestion for both vehicular and human movement on the roads
