AJIBOLA COMMENDS GOV. ABIODUN ON THE USE OF LOCAL FABRICS

An aspirant into Ogun State  House of Assembly in Obafemi-Owode State Constituency has commended the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, on the adoption of locally fabrics (Adire) posited that the development would increase the marketing strength of the Nation and the cultural values.

Abiodun who stated this at the launch of Adire market, organised by  by Ajose foundation, pet project of the wife of the governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, held at June 12 Cultural centre Abeokuta.
According to the Governor, He declared that some people come from a country to steal the designs then produce it and send it back to us. He reiterated that an end has come to that now the plan is on the top gear to introduce the local fabrics in both private and publics school of learning.

Ajibola, while commending the Ogun State Government for focusing on infrastructural development across the state. He, however advised the residents in the State to persist in the patronage of the hand- made local fabrics; that doing this, would spur makers of the indigenous fabrics to increase their productions.
