CONSULTANT ON WOMEN AFFAIRS IN ASLG GRATEFUL TO OGUN STATE GOVERNOR, PLEDGES UNALLOYED WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

The Consultant on Women Affairs in Abeokuta South Local Government, Miss Oluwakemi Sodeinde has expressed her gratitude to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, for the appointment and privilege given to her to serve in Abeokuta South Local Government Ake as one of the consultants; she, however pledged her unalloyed working relationship with the Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP. 

Miss Sodeinde submitted that her emergence as the consultant in the Council Area, ASLG is part of the manifestation of the Executive Order that the Governor signed which is to provide 35% representation for women in both government and politics.

She further said the Executive Order would be a window for women in the State and Nigeria respectively to have equal opportunity to achieve their aspirations and to explore their full potential through the establishment of the Ogun State Women inclusion and equal opportunities role.

The consultant, Miss Sodeinde nevertheless urged the women to buckle down to the participation of government functions for the Lord has ordained them to be salt in every sphere of live.
