Sweet Estate To Partner Obafemi Owode Local Government On Developmental Projects

The Foremost real Estate company, Sweet Estate, is seeking to partner with Obafemi Owode Local Government area as part of efforts to develop the LG Area.

At at a parley with the leadership of the local government led by the chairman, Hon Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, the MD CEO of Sweet Estate unique property and facilities management limited. Olumide Bdemi Falola revealed the intentions of the organisation. 

According to him, Sweet Estate is hoping to become partners in progress with Obafemi Owode Local Government, he said "we are hoping to partner with this local government to achieve development. We have done that at Odeda Local Government Area at Mawuko and we have turned the place to a household name where everyone now knows about".

He added "Obafemi Owode Local Government is the biggest in the State and this is where the focus is now; in terms of development. Even the State Government is focusing on Obafemi Owode Local Government. That is why we are here to start a relationship that we hope will be the start of bigger things".

The Sweet Estate CEO, Lion Falola Olumide believes that the partnership when it starts will not only change the landscape of the local government, but also provide jobs for the people of the local government especially youths.

"When we start, we will be making use of people in this local government, youth artisans etc hence provision of jobs for them".

In his reaction, the Executive Chairman of obafemi owode local government, Hon. Ogunsola, noted that the local government is open to partners with whoever; who will help the LG to achieve his developmental plans for the local government.

He said the proposal submitted by Sweet Estate will be given speedy consideration and hopefully the relationship will begin to yield result soon.

" Sweet Estate is a well -known and trustworthy brand. I have been a major partner with them for a while and the CEO is like a brother to me, so we are not strangers. We will do the administrative due diligence but be rest assured that we are open to this partnership and we will give your proposal speedy consideration".

He added "Obafemi Owode Local Government is one of the biggest in the entire south west and it is fast becoming the destination for a lot of would-be investors. So it is not a surprise, you are here, I am sure we can work together as partners in progress".

The chairman of Obafemi Owode local government, Hon Ogunsola, asked the management of sweet estate to start showing the people of Owode their good intentions for them immediately. 

Earnestly, the CEO Sweet Estate  obliged by gifting 8 plots of land at various locations to the Local Government, to be made use of by staff members as they wish.
