In the continuation of Ogun State Governor's statewide campaign tour for the forthcoming Local Government elections, the Governor of Ogun State His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR has today visited Obafemi-Owode Local Government, thanked the dwellers for the last Governorship election in the State; thereafter presented Hon. Ogunsola 'Lanrewaju Adesina as the Chairmanship Candidate for the forthcoming LG election which will come up this week Saturday July 24, 2021.
The State Governor, Prince Abiodun addressed the cloud in the event that the residents should come out enmass to vote for Hon.Ogunsola under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC and other Councilorship Candidates under the Party.
He further expressed concern that some Aspirants from the local government had taken the party to court. Affirmed that anybody who engages or has a case in court should pronto withdraw from the act of disregard of the party or being evicted out of the APC
Speaking earlier, the Ogun State Special Adviser on works and infrastructures; Engr. Babatunde Adesina spoke with Caveattimes reporter expressed delight, stated that Hon. Ogunsola had been tested and he is trusted that he had served under him as two terms Secretary to OOLG and during that time he was the Executive Chairman of OOLG.
He added that Hon. Ogunsola during his two terms Secretaryship, he displayed harmonious intimacy althrough the years of his tenures.
The Special Adviser, Engr.Adesina, therefore advised the incoming Executive Chairman OOLG to listen to the people of the LG Area, the electorates and to be loyal with the Administration of Ogun State Governor, Prince Abiodun.
Responding, the Chairmanship Candidate Hon. Ogunsola clearly said that he understands his people, thanked Allah for another avenue of opportunity he has created for him to serve his people in OOLG again, maintained that his Ward to Ward campaign tour to all the 12 Ward is centred to know where shoes are pinching his people in their various communities, however promised not to disappoint them.
