EID EL-KABIR: IKENNE LG APC CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE, OGUNLEYE, FELICITATES MUSLIMS, PREACHES LOVE, PIETY, PEACE AND PERSEVERANCE

The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Ikenne Local Government, in the forthcoming local government elections, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, has felicitated Muslims on this year's Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Hon. OGUNLEYE, in a release from the party's publicity and new media committee, admonished Muslims to embrace love, piety, peace, and perseverance, which the season represents.

"I urge all our Muslim brothers and sisters to  love each other, and co-exist peacefully among themselves, remain pious and persevering, even in the face of many of the daunting challenges, confronting us as a people, as the season reminds us of the kindness of Almighty Allah, who turns hopelessness to hope and happiness," said the Chairmanship candidate.

While wishing all Islamic adherents, a hitch-free and remarkable celebration, he urge all indigenes and residents of Ikenne Local Government, who are of voting age,  to come out on Saturday, 24th July, 2021, and vote for him and his running-mate, Hon. Bolanle FAKOYA, and all the APC Councillorship candidates in the council elections holding on that day.
