The Ogun State Police Command Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Special Adviser, Hon. Ogunsola Olanrewaju Adesina has called on indigenes and non indigenes living in Ogun State to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst people of other tribes. According to the former SLG, Obafemi Owode Local Government, there is no need to panic or pay attention to the unfounded stories being circulated by some disgruntled elements that the Administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun does not engage intense security in the State.
Hon. Ogunsola while speaking to the correspondent of the caveat times posited that, Governor of Ogun State, before the chaos of Fulani at Igangan, Ibarapa North in Oyo State, had providently called on the security outfits in Ogun State to raise their game and secure all entry points to the Gateway State and as well keep an open eye on happenings within the State.
The Ogun State PCRC Special Adviser stated that the manifestation of the assudious effort of the Ogun Police Command was the arrest of three (3) herdsmen which was made in January 11, 2021 over the assault of one *Morenike Salami* whose finger and jaw were cut by the herders while on her way to farmland but now responding to treatments in Lagos State Hospital, Ikeja.
Ogunsola assured that the Ogun State Police Command through ongoing partnership with various communities, will definitely protect lives and properties of people living in Ogun State and as such, there is no need to exercise any fear or panic because all hands are on deck through inter agency collaboration and community engagements to bring all perpetrators of evil to justice, no matter the tribe involved.
He, however urged the residence to embrace unity with other tribes in their various environments and continue preaching peaceful coexistence to one and another.
