The Chairman, Transition Committee Ijebu East Local Government Ogbere, Hon Falujo Calistus has promised his support for the National Population Commission in the current enumeration and demarcation exercise.
Mr Odusanya informed the council boss that the Commission would conduct Enumeration cum Demarcation exercise starting from Monday 1st of February, 2021and it will last 28 days; being preparatory towards the 2022 national census.
Hon Falujo promised to provide accommodation, transportation, security and other logistic support towards ensuring a successful exercise.
He further enjoined the people of Ijebu East to give officials of the NPC maximum cooperation as the Local Government was specifically chosen as one of the pilot local governments in Ogun State.
The Council boss expressed profound appreciations to both the Federal and State Governments for taking prompt decision for the benefit of Nigerians.
