In its continued commitment to recognizing hard work and motivating staff across the 20 Local Governments in Ogun State, the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission once again demonstrated its dedication to promoting excellence and efficiency within the service awarded Abeokuta North Local Government's Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs. Kikelomo Munirat Ajayi as "2nd Best Administrator of the Year 2025, Hajia Zainab Faleye, Best Internal Audit compliance personnel of the Year and Comrade Ilori Matthew Akande Best grassroot Mobilizer of the Year" Thursday 13th, November 2025.
The Award of Excellence/Gala Night was held at DLK Event Centre, Abiola Way, Abeokuta Ogun State which was the third of its kind was initiated to honour outstanding members of staff for their exceptional performances and dedication to duty.
In his remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Hezekiah Rasidi Tayo, Eselu of Okeselu, Sagamu Local Government, and a retired Permanent Secretary also the Chairman Association of retired Head of Local Government Administration(HOLGAS) Ogun State, Elder Olorumbe Aregbesola commended the Local Government Service Commission for its consistent efforts in motivating and rewarding excellence among council staff. They congratulated the award recipients for distinguishing themselves through hard work, discipline, and dedication to service.
The Awardees thanked the Local Government Service Commission for the Awards however, pledged to buckle down more in their various duties which will make them to challenge to do even better.
