The council boss stressed that in demonstration of his commitments to the course of youths in the council area and in making sure that youths are engaged in one thing or the other,as an idle hand, they say, is the devil's workshop.
He deliberately began the new year with the meeting of NYCN having observed that the youths played an important role in nation building.
Youths has recently played major role as they came out in large numbers to cast their votes at the last Loca Governments Election in the State which ushered in his 2nd term in office as the Executive Chairman.
He further encouraged the delegation to keep the good work as a body of youths, as the Youth Council is a known group nationwide and it is recognized by the government. While he gave hope to some highlighted requests of the
group as the third tier of government is looking towards achieving full autonomy of the local government funds very soon.
Earlier, Comrade Adeola Amosun, Coordinator, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Obafemi Owode Local Chapter disclosed that the purpose of their visit is to familiarize and congratulate the Executive Chairman, Amb. Ogunsola on his 2nd term in office after a successful discharged of dividends of democracy to all sectors of government across wards, villages and towns in the council area in the last era.
He stressed that the involvement of youths in his plan and policy of government will be a welcome idea for the group, as the administration has done well in her inclusiveness policy in the 1st term in office of Amb. Ogunsola led Government in Obafemi Owode local government area.
While assuring the Chairman of their unalloyed loyalty and support to his administration at all time.
