Senior Special Assistant to Ogun State Government on Environmental, Alh. (Hon.) Farouk Adeniyi Akintunde FHNR,FCSS has been conferred the "Balogun Iporo Muslims Council" on Saturday 9th of March, 2024.
Earlier while conferring the title, the Chief Imam of Egbaland, Fadilat Sheik Saa'dat Alade made it known that the title is bestowed reasonably because of the way and manner is propagating Islam within the community and the extensions
Further stated that ensuring these rites in Islam, are means to recognize him for his contributions to the developments and success of the town; described the newly conferred Balogun Iporo Muslims as a good leader with the interest of the people at heart who is devout and fitted to ascend the Islamic pedestal
Alh. Farouk , after receiving the title expressed amazement and appreciation for the honour done on him, however described the gesture as the first of its kind from the Muslims Council
