OGUN TRIBUNAL: ASLG CHAIRMAN, HON. MAJEKODUNMI CONGRATULATES AFUAPE

Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has congratulated Hon. Moruf Afolabi Afuape; member House of Representative in Abuja elected in ASLG Constituency under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) who was confirmed winner at the election Petition Tribunal at Isabo High Court Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The three-man panel of judges, headed by justice Kabir Gabo, on Thursday 7th, September 2023 declared Hon. Afolabi Afuape as the genuine winner of February 25 2023 National House of Assembly Election.

Hon. Majekodunmi stated that the verdict was a pointer of the confidence and truth of the election exercise therefore, urged other members of the opposition to join hands with the Member, House of Representative to take the LGA to enviable heights in terms ensuring favorable developments into the Areas. Further added that ASLG Area is an epicenter which must be the LG amongst others to reckon with.

Hon. Majekodunmi, ASLG Chairman nevertheless congratulated him, "Hon. Afuape" for the truly earnt victory.
