Odeda Local Government on Thursday received medical equipment worth millions of Naira donated to the Local government facilities in Odeda local government by "SD Holding Foundation".
The donation was presented by Dr Femi Akinbile the foundation leader and his team to all health Centers that cut across 10 wards in the LG and General Hospital Odeda
According to the Organization, said the equipments were donated to improve healthcare services in Rural communities;
Hon Afolashade Adeyemo, the Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government represented by the Vice chairman Hon. Yaya Nasir Adigun while addressing the Donor appreciated and expressed her gratitude to the Organization saying health care is a major issue in any community, further stress that as part of the promises made to improve the aspect of health care service delivery, her administration has been working day and night, seeking help from a good Samaritan to achieve her mission and that has come to the Local Government as a surprise for free.
In addition, she promised the donor that the equipments would be used effectively.
Finally, the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer Matron Saheed commended SD Holding Foundation, for their kind gesture of supporting the health facilities in the Rural Community in Odeda
appealed to the organization that as Oliver twist; numbers of medical tools are still also expected from them.
Dignitaries at the occasion were: the supervisor for health Odeda local government Hon Yomi Adeyemi, Acting Heads of Local Government Administration Mrs Elizabeth Solomon, former party Chairman of Odeda local government pastor Onaolapo.
