The Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP has honoured Political Class/Office Holders in the LG and members of staff whose dedication and willingness to service stood out in the last two years, showing the ability to perform some tasks in their political duties/statutory chores.
Awards were given on Friday 18th August 2023 at Award Night held at Olive Event Center adjacent to the Immigration Office in Abeokuta got some members of staff unaware, but the LG Chairman said he staged the memorable occasion simply to compensate both the political angle and members of staff who had diligently supported his developmental drives in the Local Government Area.
According to the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Sofela, he addressed that such an event was worthwhile and should be continuum that would, by the acceptance, spur the recipients and other members to be hard-working and focused on their assigned duties, while commending Hon. Majekodunmi for the stride by honoring both the political functionaries/Class and members of staff.
Hon. Moruf Afolabi Afuape, Member House of Representing (MHR), Abeokuta South Local Government, expressed delight in the occasion for the cordial relationship that ensued between the political functionaries and members of staff in the LG. He stated that "he is proud of the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Majekodunmi" for the hands of fellowship extended to the team members and noticeable workers in the LG
He emphasized that the exemplary leadership in which Majekodunmi led-Administration has intensively ensured in the LGA is second to none.
