ASLG 2ND YEARS IN OFFICE: MAJEKODUNMI LED- ADMINISTRATION COMMISSIONS NUMBER OF PROJECTS

Abeokuta South Local Government Executive  Chairman in Ake, Abeokuta of Ogun  State, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP has commissioned 11 projects in commemoration of his 2nd year in office at a ceremony held at Abeokuta South Local Government Secretariat Ake.

Hon. Majekodunmi stated that the projects were in line with the reality of his led Administration to ensure dividends of democracy are well delivered at the doorsteps of the dwellers in the Local Government, which remain the focus in Ogun State.

Hon. Majekodunmi Administration, therefore, dedicated the celebration of the 2nd year in office to the construction of Three Health Centers at Abule Olooni, Odo- Oyo, and Isale Oja Kuto.  A block of Four Lock-up Shops with Toilet, at the LG Secretariat; provision of Motorized Boreholes at Isale Oja Kuto Market. Other Projects include: 

* The newly constructed/renovated 35 toilets facilities at the LG Secretariat.

*Renovated/purchased Office furniture for the Chairman's office.

*Renovated and purchased office furniture for the LG Legislative Chamber.

*Reconstructed  Block of Two Classrooms with Two Offices at St Joseph Pry School, Oke-Bode, Isabo, Abeokuta.

The Council helmsman emphasized that, though the last 2 years had been very challenging due to the paucity of funds, the achievements were actualized with the complement of the Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) drive. He, therefore, urged the dwellers therein to continue supporting the LG by paying their levies and dues to the coffer of the LG.

A Member of House Representative (MHR) from Abeokuta South Local Government and Former Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, 

Hon. Moruf Afolabi Afuape commended the achievements of Hon. Majekodunmi Administration, for working assiduously to actualize the quantum of projects in just two years in the office. He, howbeit, appreciated the people in the Local Government and Ogun State for their patience during this trying period and assured them that things would be better from now on.

Present at the Commissioning of the Projects were: Former Commissioners of Sport in Ogun State, Chief Bukola Olopade, Chief (Mrs). Kemi Longe, The APC Party Chairman, Chief Henry Tunji Fagbenro, Prince Niyi Edun, Past Chairmen, Party Chairmen, Political Stalwarts, and Leaders in the Local Government, Head of the Local Government Administration ASLG, Mr. Wole Adeosun, Community Development Community Leader ASLG, Mr. Aregbe, All Directors/ H.O.D NULGE Caretaker Committee Member ASLG and the National Labour Congress Member ASLG.
