The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP today resented the infringement of the traders, motorists, and road users for trespassing on the laws and orders of the Local Government.
He professed the stern warning to the traders and others on Fresh FM today Monday 24th July, 2023 that the traders, Motorists, and road users should be law-abiding and as well ensure peace reigns in the LG Area.
Resounded that, despite the serial warning extended to the traders in Local Government Areas, they still display their wares on the pathways and the drainages; dumped all sorts of garbage into the gutters to obstruct the free flow of water which may harm other residents in the society. Further enjoined the motorists and the road users in LG to take caution of the traffic order in the Area.
In the meantime, the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN) South West Zone presented an Award of Excellence to Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, for her unflinching efforts in ensuring a clean environment in the LGA. This was officially done by the Ogun State Chairman of the Association, Sanitarian Adedamola Sodeke in the chairman's office today July 24, 2023.
Hon. Majekodunmi appreciated them for the award and stated that he saw the award as a cap on him that would spur him to continue the good deeds in the LGA.
