OGHA: Gateway Progressive Youths Congratulates Newly Inaugurated Members, Urges the Promotion of Youth Development Policies

A formidable group of young professionals from diverse fields in Ogun State, the Gateway Progressive Youths, has congratulated all newly inaugurated members of the Ogun State House of Assembly.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Director of Publicity, Olamide David, in Abeokuta today ahead of their formal inauguration into office.

The group lauded the electorates for the mandate given to each representative of the 26 state Constituencies at the State House of Assembly.

Coordinator of the group, Olufemi Bashorun, in a statement titled, “Congratulations To All Ogun House of Assembly Members 2023”, attributed the victory of all the Assembly members as the collective resolve of determined people for the continued development in all sectors in Ogun State.

The statement partly reads, “All our dreams can come true, if we dare to pursue them because nothing can break the collective resolve of a determined people.

“Your victory at the polls was a poignant manifestation of the people’s faith in you, particularly the young generation who saw a greater prospect in your candidature and capacity to offer quality representation.

“Today, you personify the bow needed to realize the wishes and aspirations of the people of Ogun State through the policies that will be formulated while in office.

“We have no iota of doubt that Ogun State is in safe and able hands.

"We urge all newly inaugurated members, irrespective of political leanings, to complement the efforts of Governor Abiodun in ensuring developmental legislation for the state".

Bashorun, who described the electorates as the real heroes added, “Let your spirits remain unbroken; your collective resolve in the pursuit of equity and justice for all unmitigated as we begin a new administration with greater expectations.
