ABEOKUTA NORTH LG UPDATE: FAIDAT APPEALS LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL TO ALLOW PEACE

Ditto to the shocking happenings in Abeokuta North Local Government on the unforseen suspension of the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Bayo Ayorinde; the All Progressives Congress Party Chairman at the Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde Sarumi has entreated the Legislators to allow peace to reign in the Local Government.

The statement was made in a release sent to the caveattimesonline newspaper that the suspension came out unscrutinized and was signed by less than majority of the Legislative Council of the LG.

Alhaja Faidat, however dissociate herself from the purported suspension of Hon. Ayorinde reasonably added that the Council Boss has performed his duties creditably well to the optimal level expected of him.

Nevertheless, she urged the aggrieved Legislators and their sponsors to consider peace instead, further restated that Hon. Ayorinde remains the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government believed that the discord would be addressed congruously.
