OOLG Ogunsola swears in LGEA Chairman, Education Secretary and other members, Charges them to be dedicated to their duties

Members of the Local Government Education Authority board have been charged to be dedicated in the discharge of their duties.

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre gave the charge during the official swearing-in of the Chairman, Local Government Education Authority, Education Secretary and all other members of the monitoring team of the education authority.

The Council Boss further stressed that the newly appointees should not see their appointments as their share of the national cake, instead, they should all guide it meticulously and be dedicated to their duties, as it's a call to serve.
He described the inauguration as the first and major component of his administration in the education sector, the basic education which has been in moribund for the past years.

He specially commended the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR. for his ingenuity in bringing the education sector back to life. It is indeed another milestone of achievement for the Local Government administration.
He therefore, reiterated the commitment of his administration at the local government, as a lover of education, in doing everything possible within the available resources to reposition the sector in the council area.

"Within the period we assumed office, our administration has done tremendously in the construction of blocks of classrooms, renovation of dilapidated structures in public primary schools across the wards, giving of financial support to the education sector to mention but afew", said Amb. Ogunsola.

Earlier, Hon. Titus Olusesi, Vice Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, welcomed the appointees, party leaders and well-wishers to the epoch making event. He wished the new appointees success in their new offices. 

Hon. Chief Olaseni Adeoye, Education Secretary, appreciated and acknowledged the magnanimity of this administration,on behalf of all the appointees for the opportunity to serve their people.

"As professional and experienced teachers we promise to make our impact felt positively in the education sector of this our noble local government" said Hon. Adeoye.

Political functionaries at the inauguration includes, the Secretary to the Local government, Mr. Kayode Dipeolu,  Supervisor for Health and Special Duties,Hon.Saula Adio, Supervisor for Education, Information and Sports, Mrs. Foluke Oluwadare, Alhaja Akintayo Risikat, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Community Development, Mr. Idowu Fasanya, Consultant on Agriculture and Natural Resources amongst others.
