ODEDA LG: Folashade Adeyemo Swears-in LG Education Authority Board Chairman and Members

Tuesday 7th of February, 2023 marks another day in the annals of Odeda  Local Government as the Executive Chairman Hon.(Alh) Waliat Afolashade Adeyemo inaugurate the Education Secretary, Monitoring Officers and Board Members into the Local Government Education at the Local Government Secretariat, Odeda. 

Hon. Folashade Adeyemo in her keynote address appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR), for given the appointees opportunities to serve in various portfolios as she made it known that their appointments were based on antecedent and track records of services and loyalty.

Conclusively, she enjoined the entire work force to work in collaboration with the newly inaugurated board to ensure success during their tenure.

The newly Education Secretary, Alh (Imam) Sataar Oguntola while giving vote of thanks on behalf of other appointees thanked the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and Party Leaders for entrusting them with the management of Odeda Local Government Education Authority which they cherished and ready to sustain the legacies of good and qualitative education as envisioned by His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun.

He further commended  The Executive Chairman Hon. Waliat Adeyemo for her great concern and passion towards education and grassroot development has he described her as a woman with a man's heart ruling in her.

In addition, he saluted the teachers within the Local Govt for impacting knowledge and promised to do everything humanly possible to enhance their comfortability and pleasure.

The event was witnessed by the Vice Chairman, Hon.Yaya Nosir Adigun, the Secretary to the LG, Mr Makinde Zacheus, all Supervisors, all Special Advisers and Consultants, the Head of Local Government Administration, Miss Olufunke Adeniji, Party Leaders across the Local Govt, party faithfuls and well-wishers.
