The Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP has on Friday 11th February 2023 administered an oath to Local Government Education Authority Secretary and other members of the Board charged them to improve the learning skills and educational system at the grassroots.
Majekodunmi said the inauguration ceremony of the newly appointed LGEA Secretary, Chief Monitoring Officer, Monitoring Officers and other Board members of the Education Authority in the Council Area was made to contribute immensely to the functioning of Primary Education in the society
He stressed further that no matter where they go or what they do, they should prepare for the challenges ahead of them. He prayed that they will be able to meet the challenges ahead with open minds and make excellence their priority.
The Chairman at the ceremony appreciated the kind gesture of the Executive Governor of the State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR on his proactive action in arresting the prevailing situation in the State. He also charged the new appointees to do all within the power and maximize their potentials in taking basic Education System to the next level.
At the occasion, Chief Sunday Sowunmi, a member of the Governor's Advisory Council and the APC party Chairman of the LGA, Hon. Henry Adetunji Fagbenro prayed for the success of the appointees in the task ahead.
