His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, Governor of Ogun State has today enrolled One Thousand Six Hundred Forty Seven (1,647) residents of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area into the social investment initiative.
The discretion came up to adopt procurement strategies to promote value for the people in the LGA and to fill up the numbers into the Ogun state government system in order to reduce level of poverty in the state.
The appointees after receiving their letters of appointment being presented by the Chairman, OOLG, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre expressed delight of the good gesture of the Governor for remembering the LG, he, however promised the Governor of his people's support and assurance of his second term re-election into office.
Nonetheless, the Council helmsman, Ambassador Ogunsola advised the beneficiary to buckle - down to discharge their duties effectively without entertaining any emotion of dissatisfaction while presenting the letter of appointment to them.
In his own view, All Progressives Congress Party Chairman OOLG, Chief Idowu Olude also appreciated Governor Dapo Administration for the wonderful gesture and his support to humanity. He further said, the gesture is a fortune and it would earn the Governor and 'APC' overwhelming victory in 2023 General Elections in February 25, 2023 and March 11, 2023 respectively.
