Majekodunmi Urges Residents in ASLG To Get Voter Cards

The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP  has called on those yet to collect their Permanent Voters' Card, PVC, to do so immediately.

Majekodunmi tasked the residents to get their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs)  to enable them to exercise their franchise during the 2023 General elections.

He said he understands the significance of voting as he affirmed that the dwellers should not see the period of Elections as days of sit-at home day but  come out to vote for government of today in Ogun State and Federal respectively.

Further urged the dwellers during 2023 Elections to cast their votes for APC Candidates in both  the State and Federal. Confirmed that INEC has opened collection centres in all the wards across the local areas and the deadline for collection is January 22.

The helmsman reiterated that those who were unable to collect their PVCs at the local government offices of the commission could now do so at the registration areas/wards on a daily basis.
