LGSC TOUR:—AMBASSADOR OGUNSOLA RECEIVES LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION AMIDS FUNFAIR

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre  on Wednesday received the team of the of the Ogun state local Government Service under the leadership of Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo who was on an Official visit to the Council area in Owode Egba

The Council Boss while appreciating the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission stated that the meeting will enhance  productivity of staffs in the local government .

While he expressed cordial and harmonious relationship between the career staffs and the executive arm of the council.

The Chairman, Ogun state Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Ms. Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo in her address urges workers to be disciplined and have  passion for excellent in  discharging their duties as local government workers.

Onabanjo also condemned the attitude of lateness to work and unproductive nature of some staffs, especially on the revenue generated remittance to the coffers of local government as expected .

She also frowned at the appearance of staffs at their duty post particularly on the mode of dresses that negates the civil service rule.

 Dr. Oluseun Olufowobi, Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, Ogun State, reiterates the commitment of the Commission in prioritizing the welfare of staffers across the  board.

He therefore encouraged workers of Obafemi Owode Lg to express their challenges, has it's the reason for visiting in oder to hear directly, with the aim of channeling a lasting solution.

Responding to questions, Dr. Olufowobi speaks on the complaints of some workers on the reduction in their salary after being promoted from a grade level to another.

He therefore said anyone with such experience should come to the commission with a valid facts to back up its case, has it's certain he or she shall be welcomed and attended to accordingly.

Similarly,The  Commission also held a meeting with Community Development Council (C.D.C.)in Obafemi Owode Zone in order to identify with them and to know the bothering issues on ground and how to resolve it .

Earlier, Mr. Fatai Ogundele, Head of Local Government Administration thanked the commission for the visit while appealing to them for posting of more personal to the local in order to fill the vacant space on ground saying that many of the Junior staff have converted to the Senior cadres 

He then re-echoed the supports and dedications of staff's to duty, they will continue to drum support at all time.
