IGR DRIVE: OOLG BOSS MEETS WITH THE OGUN STATE TASK FORCE FOR SUPPORT

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Lanre Adesina has met with the Ogun State Task Force in a search to support them to enforce its Internally Generated Revenues in the Local Government Area.

Amb. Ogunsola made this known to the Head of the Agency, the Assistance Commissioner of Police, ACP Toyin Afolaogun, that some fake consultants are parading themselves as the revenues collectors inspite of the incessant warning letters from the LG they have dispatched to them for the fake revenues collectors to show off from the illegal acts.

He further stated that for the revenues of the LG to be heightened and the dwellers to respond positively, the Council needs Ogun State Task unflinching support to enhance the I.G.R. drive in the LGA

ACP Afolaogun, in his response however promised to support the LG in the enforcement that all bad eggs parading themselves to be the revenues collectors in whom the government does not engage in the doing would be flushed out.

While appreciating the Council Chairman for the recongnition and step taken, reiterated that those elements would face the wrath of the law enforcement agency if caught in the barbaric act.
