ONWARD STATE LGA STAFF C.I.CS HOLDS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, URGES MEMBERS TO IMPROVE THEIR SOCIAL LIVES

The foremost Cooperative Society in Ogun State Local Government "Onward Ogun State Local Government Staff Cooperative Investments  Credit Society has held its Annual General Meeting today Thursday 7th April, 2022 advised its members to improve more on their social lives.

President of the financial society, cooperator Wasiu Ayodele Quadri expressed pleasure and the unflinching support of the members in ensuring the upliftments and standout of the society today.

According to him, he explained further that cooperative society is a unified Local Government Cooperative in Ogun State that is an autonomous association that combines determinant of people, voluntarily to meet the common economic, social and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise which is primarily based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, equality and solidarity as well as ethical values of honest, openness and caring for others.

He reiterated while thanking the cooperators for been part of the milestone in the history of the society.

Dr. Oladapo, union delegate in his address at the Annual Ceremony urged  members to strive and continue to support the cooperative society in other to maximize its benefit in improving their social and financial lives. 

Noted that in this part of the world, Cooperative Society has bridged the gap between the middle income earners and the low income earners by providing financial succor to the low income earners thereby uplifting their social status. In the same vein, Mr. Omidiji O.A (RCS), the Auditor-in-charge, in his address implored members to remain faithful and steadfast in their commitment towards the society in other for the society to serve them better.

Other principal attendees who graced the occasion at Ogun State Local Government Service Commission were: Engr. Nike Ogunbona, Head of the Local Government Administration; Ikenne LG, Mr. Wole Adeosun, Head of the Local Government Administration; Ipokia LG and Mrs. Adeniji, Head of the Local Government Administration; Odeda LG.
