The Executive Chairman of ifo local government Hon. (Mrs) Kikelomo Delano received the students of Golden passion private secondary School, Ayede, Ifo, on their one day excursion to the Local Government Secretariat.
The Council boss, in her address, advised the students to face their studies squarely and make formal education a priority. She appealed to the female students not to allow, encourage and cover up untoward attitude from male friends, teachers, families and any other person. They should report any harassment to their teachers and guidance. She also charged the male students to be committed to their studies and shun bad gang and cultism.
The students had earlier been conducted round all the nine departments of the Local Government as well as the Legislative Concil.
In her response, the proprietress, Mrs. Dadi Adenike, thanked the Chairman for sparing her precious time to receive the students. The school in return presented a gift to the chairman in appreciation of her motherly roles and advice.
In attendance were: the vice Chairman, Hon. Dapo Adebesin; the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs. Akintomide Taiwo; the Director of Education, information and sports, Alhaji Lateef Sikiru, among others.
