POSTING OF HEADS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION; ONAYEMI, IJEBU ODE LG HOLGA, MOVES TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION

The Head of Local Government Administration, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Onagbenga ONAYEMI, has been posted to the Local Government Service Commission, Ogun State, to serve as the Director, Manpower Development and Training, a position formerly occupied by the newly-inaugurated Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Adeolu OLUFOWOBI.

This development was contained in a posting instruction dated 20th September, 2021, and signed by Engr.  Mohammed Isola ABBASS, FNSE, Director, Promotion, Posting, and Transfer, Local Government Service Commission, Ogun State.

The posting which takes immediate effect, also returns Comrade Dapo BANJO, the erstwhile Director of General Services and Administration, Ijebu Ode Local Government, and presently, Head of Local Government Administration, Odogbolu Local Government, as the new Head of Local Government Administration.

A Certified Accountant, and Seasoned Administrator, Onayemi, a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria,  was the Treasurer/Director of Finance, and the Acting Head of Local Government Administration at Ijebu Ode Local Government, before his recent appointment as a substantive Head of Local Government Administration in the same local government.

With over three decades in the local government service of Ogun State, spanning the four zones, he is expected to bring his wealth of experience, garnered over the years, to bear in this new posting.
