The Chairman was eulogised by the various speakers who spoke at a reception hosted in his honour on Sunday by the Ijebu Ode Muslim Community, under the aegis of the Ijebu Ode Central Mosque Management Committee.
Speaking at the Ijebu Ode Central Mosque Hall, venue of the event, the Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Kamil Olanipekun Alausa, a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University, described Gazal as a very principled person, who diligently pursues whatever cause he believes in, and someone, who because of his principled stance, should not be misconstrued as being stubborn.

He advised the Chairman to effectively organise the Community Development Associations, to partner him in his administration, and also constitute a Technical/Advisory Committee that will be advising him from time-to-time.
Alausa thereafter prayed for the Wife, Mrs. Olusola Emilola-Gazal, and urged the gathering to pray for the Chairman, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and Nigeria.
In his goodwill message, the former Deputy Governor of Ogun State, and former Senator, representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Senator Sefiu Adegbenga Kaka, congratulated Gazal, who was his Personal Assistant while he served as the Deputy Governor, and commended him for his loyalty, patience, perseverance, and contentment.

"You are a good leader if your followers replicate what you represents. I am happy that Gazal is today, the Local Government Chairman, a position he had wanted to serve in, some years back.
I urge you to be loyal, first to your God, the people you are voted to serve, and thirdly, the leaders. You must do good to the people, for they repose much confidence in you", counselled, Senator Kaka.
He further enjoined him to prioritize his programmes, and actualise the ones he can, according to his conscience, citing Waste Management, Market, Education, Health, and Flood Control, as some of the key areas he should give priority consideration.

In his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour, Engr. Femi Omotayo-Omoowo said the selection and subsequent election of Gazal is divine, describing it as a good omen for Ijebu Ode.
