Former ASLG Chairman, Hon.Odejimi, advises newly Elected Councillors to be good Ambassadors

The former Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Akeem Odejimi popularly known as Ologbonwon has today August 16th, 2021 cautioned the Newly sworn-in Councillors  of the Local Government to be of good conduct in their statutory duties.
He enjoined the newly elected councillors to repose the confidence of the electorates by making laws that would impact positively on the lives of the people.
The former council boss noted that the task of bringing dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the people of the council area starts with the lawmakers and hence could not afford to fail.
Further said that the Council lawmakers should endeavor to work in synergy with the Executive of the Local Government, for the reality of the dividends of democracy to the dwellers in ASLG area rest on the  two Arms of Government in the Council.

Among the newly sworn-in councilors from the Fifteen political wards of the council area were: Hon. Olanrewaju Atanda Orija (Ward 1) Member, Hon. Sanyaolu Ismail Oluwajuwonlo (Ward 2) Member, Hon. Lateef Funto Oladosu (Ward 3) Member, Hon.Jamiu Ogundairo Dotun (Ward 4) Member, Hon. Gafar Olasupo Idowu (Ward 5) Chief Whip, Hon. Sogunle Musibau Ayoola (Ward 6) Member, Hon. Kazeem Adenekan (Ward 7) Leader of the House, Hon. Seyi Sodiya Oladayo (Ward 8) Majority Leader, Hon. Taoreed Olawale Isaiah (Ward 9) Member, Hon. Olayinka Azeez Sanusi (Ward 10) Member, Hon.Wasiu Ogundimu ( Ward 11) Member, Hon. Taiwo Adenekan (Ward 12) Member, Hon. Saburi Kareem (Ward 13) Member, Hon. Ismail Afolabi Soyoye (Ward 14) Deputy Leader and Hon. Edun Adeola Kehinde (Ward 15) Member.
