OGUN LG POLL: OOLG APC inaugurates ‘election preparation’ committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obafemi Owode Local Government Ogun State has inaugurated a committee consisting of 25 members and sub Committee 20 that will set a logical forms and outlines of policy for its next local government elections.

The Committee is led by the Chairman Transition Committee OOLG, Hon. Mustapha Mutair A.K.A Eruobodo, Hon. Kunle Kuti, the Deputy Director General and the Secretary, Comrade Femi Oyedele as the Scribe of the Campaign Committee. 

This development was confirmed to the Caveattimes News today by the Director General of the Campaign Committee, Hon. Mustapha who stated that he is very happy to chair the campaign Committee promised APC members at OOLG a yielded results.

The Director General of the Campaign Committee, Hon. Mustapha equally urged the dwellers at OOLG that, it is only the Rulling Party, APC that can give dividends of democracy to people added that come July 24, 2021 the residents at OOLG should enmass vote for Hon.Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina as the Chairman OOLG, the Vice Chairman and 12 Councilors under the Platform of APC. Reiterated that he is the best Candidate, a committed and an experienced grassroots molder who accommodate every well being in the society.

The APC Party Chairman OOLG, Hon. Idowu Olude enjoined the committee members ”to swing into action with the statutory election notices publication by the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission”.

“He reiterated that the announcement of the elections scheduled for 24th July 2021 has spured political activities in the party with Candidates canvassing for support from dwellers in the communities of OOLG; he expressed the confidence of the party in the ability of the committee to do a thorough job that will further boost the democratic glory of the party.

"In his response, Hon. Damilola Soneye Kayode, Ogun State House of Assembly Members representing OOLG State Constituency assured the party of living up to expectations and ensuring that credible guidelines will be put in place to justify the confidence that leadership of the party reposed in the committee.

“He assured that the party has presented the best Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ogunsola and the Councillorship Candidates that will compliment the efforts of the state government in providing the dividends of democracy for the people", Hon.Soneye stated.
