It was a double celebration in the life of retired Head of Local Government Administration, (HOLGA), Remo North LG, Dr (Mrs) Aishat Lawal, as she retired from the Local Government Services on Thursday, June 4, howbiet celebrated her birthday on Saturday 5th June, 2021.
The Pendown ceremony which took place at Remo North Local Government Secretariat Hall on Friday June 4, 2021.
Dr.Aishat therefore held a brief meeting with all the LG directors where she officially handed over to the Acting Holga, Alhaji Lemboye Àbáyomi in whom she prayed, for her successful leadership roles assured while in the service.
And in the same vein, she met with all members of staff in RNLG and finally moved down to the hall for proper PENDOWN ceremony.
Speaking at the birthday ceremony on Saturday, 5th June, at Afotamodi Town hall, Isara, the Chairman, Ogun State LGSC Hon. Bukola Onabanjo refered the celebrant as an epitome of humility, love and worthy who could be emulated by all women.
However, HRH Oba Taiwo Taiwo, Amororo 11, the Onipara of Ipara-Remo charged all other members of staff to be as diligent as the celebrant, thanked her for the efforts and contributions extended to him during Oba Taiwo Taiwo official installation as Amororo 11, of Onipara of Ipara- Remo Land.
At the event, the retired Permanent Secretary at LGSC, Dr K.A.M Olabimtan, described the celebrant, who according to him stated that she was employed the same year, 1990, with him, as a philanthropist whose benevolent gesture cut accroos every category of people.
