Former Secretary to Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Hon. Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina (O.L.A) has yesterday May 7, 2021 declared his intentions to run for the Office of the Chairman in Obafemi-Owode Local Government under the umbrella of a leading Party in Nigeria, All Progressives Congress (APC); in the coming Local Government Election in Ogun State which is slated for July 24, 2021 as stated by the Chairman Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, Mr. Babatunde Osibodu.
This was evident while the two terms Secretary to Obafemi-Owode LG then, Ogunsola, made a distinct consultation to the A.P.C political leaders at Oba Zone, OOLG promised dividends of democracy across the three Zones of the Local Government if given the candidature
According to a press release made available to www.caveattimes.com by Shodehinde Ishola, his media aide, stated that he declared his intention before an enthusiastic number of Oba A.P.C leaders and suppoters; affirmed that as a political technocrat: he is in the race to make the difference by creating a positive impact and building another lagacy within the next three years in the Local Government by God's Grace.
Added that Ogunsola performances as two terms Secretary at OOLG Area had motivated him to have keen interest in the Chairmaship Seat at the LG Area.
" I am running because I have what it takes to run. I have the credibility, I have the capacity and I have the structures based on my political experiences which I believe my leaders whom my political services then were under their supervisions could attest to my political dispositions during my two terms secretaryship in the LG and that is what I want to reciprocate this time around", he said.
Hon. Ogunsola appreciated the leaders for the audience and rapt attention given to him, he, however, pleaded with the A.P.C political jugaunauts at Oba Zone to give him unalloyed supports, pledged that he would never disappoint them.
