Ogunsola commends Ogun Police Command operations on the arrest of Kidnappers of OOU Students, Imeko Medical Personnel


The Ogun Command Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Special Adviser, Hon. Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adeshina has praised the Ogun Command Police Force for the tactics applied to arrest the Kidnappers of the students of Olabisi Onabanjo University and Medical Personnel  of General Hospital Imeko.

Hon. Ogunsola who equally appreciated the Ogun Command Police Commissioner in the State, Edward Ajogun who paraded the suspect and at the eventuality, the suspects were apprehended two days after the students were released.

The students according to the release were abducted in March 14, 2021 at their hostel.

The suspect, Umaru Usman, Mohammad Bello and Babuga Abubakar, 40 reportedly confessed to a series of kidnapping cases in the Ayetoro Olorunda and Imeko areas.

Hon. Ogunsola, however, advised the citizenry in Ogun State to be vigilant of any unprincipled step/ acts in the communities, further urged them to deem it fit to report suspicious movements of any kind; either human or vehicles, most especially in the night to the nearest Police Station.
