Following the invasion of Mowe Oso Abe Oloba community in Mowe, Ogun state, residents have urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to as a matter of urgency intervene in the matter and address them.
According to a joint communiqué signed by all the Chairmen of associations within the community after a Stakeholder's forum organised to deliberate on the security of lives and property in the area, stressed that the governor's intervention would go along way in knowing the true picture of the invasion.
This action is coming on the heels of invasion of their land by the armed mobile police personnel backed group of people that claimed they were sent by Governor Abiodun, claiming the Governor owns all land.
At a well attended forum which consist of 10 Estates, the community resolved that Governor in order to restore peace and sanity should tell them his position whether they came on his order or not.
It will be recalled that the community had earlier sent a petition to the special adviser on security to Ogun state governor and the inspector general of the police on the possible wrong use of the police personnel.
As at the time of filing this report, the government has yet to respond to the allegations.
