RESCUED OOU STUDENTS: SOUTHWEST PCRC LAUDS CP AJOGUN AND GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN

By: Kunle Sodipo
The Southwest PCRC has described the rescue of the two (2) kidnapped OOU students as not just a relief but a signal that those in charge of security in Ogun State are up to the task.

This was contained in a  message sent for public consumption through the Southwest PCRC Public Relations Directorate by the National Vice Chairman in charge of Southwest Geopolitical Zone, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan on Wednesday 17th March, 2021.

Currently away in Yola, Adamawa State for the PCRC Zone 3 Capacity Building Workshop, the NVC applauded the leadership provided by the State Government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun MFR as well as Ogun State Police Command, led by CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun PSC.

Alhaji Olaniyan echoed on the need for the public to trust the ability of our security agencies to deliver, no matter the situation. He called on Ogun State Government to keep up the good work and continue to do more in terms of boosting the morale of our gallant officers and men who always risk it all.

Mogaji also called the attention of the Government on the need to make good use of the Special Constabulary Police Officers recruited late last year and despatched to their different communities for intelligence gathering and other proactive Policing work. He maintained that little motivational gestures from the Government will go a long way to boost the morale of the Special Constables whose purpose (s) can not be ignored.

He commended the Police Management Team of Ogun State Police Command, all the Command Tactical Team, Area Commanders, DPOs and Sister Security Agencies for their commitment, dedication and cooperation which undoubtedly, paved the way for the much needed synergy for success.
He concluded with passionate appeal to all members of the Public, to join hands with security agents in the State to flush out criminal elements by giving quick, useful and accurate information through the nearest Police Station, Community Head, Religious Leaders or directly to the Office of the PPRO, if need be.

"From all of us at PCRC Southwest, we give a big kudos to OGSG and Ogun State Police Command even as we pray for an improved grace to adequately secure the Gateway State from both internal and external enemies", Sodipo stated.
