There was a mild drama at the Ipokia High court, Ipokia, Ogun State during the hearing of the suit filed by iwayedodo ruling house challenging the imposition of a candidate on the town by the kingmakers.
The incident occurred, when the counsel to Prince Akeem Bankole oyewole oyelegbin, fumed against the delaying tactics of the state counsel in the ongoing suit in the court.
The opposing counsel was angered when the government counsel filed in some fresh applications in their defense.
The presiding judge had earlier announced of his appointment with the state chief judge which will not allow him to proceed with the case that day.
The court thereafter adjourned the case to march 30th to enable the counsel to the plaintiff to respond to the objections.
It will be recalled that the iwaye Dodo ruling house had approached the court challenging the imposition of a non indigene , one Yisa Olaniyan by the kingmakers in contrary to a 1956 chieftaincy declaration and a valid restraining order in the process of selection of the new Onipokia of ipokia
