HOLGA ANLG, MRS AJAYI HOLDS MAIDEN MEETING WITH MEMBERS OF STAFF, CHARGES THEM TO BE ESSENTIAL TO SERVICE DELIVERY

The  Newly posted Head of the Local Government Administration at Abeokuta North Local Government Akomoje, Mrs Kikelomo Munirat Ajayi today 11th November 2024  held first ever meeting with members of staff; she charged them to be instrumental to the service delivery, open-minded, and to speak their mind said the meeting was designed to familiarize herself with the members of staff therein.

Meanwhile, the strategic meeting held at Habbeb Ajayi Multipurpose Hall in the Local Government Secretariat afforded staff of the LG an opportunity to interact with the newly posted HOLGA on issues of concern and in extension to intimate the workers of the Local Government  on the discourse that would affect the LG and Members of staff 

Mrs. Ajayi expressed delight at the warm reception accorded him by the entire workforce however called on staff to be honest and diligently to do their work with utmost sense of responsibilities. Added that she works with peace and her expectations are to work together to improve the system of the Local Government Area based on everyone's mandates. 

Stated further that she would do her best along with the Management to ensure that whatever that is due to them is given to them and on that note enjoined them to shun from being a away from the place of work; that anyone caught in the vices would be statutory dealt with. And in the same vein prepared the mind of the workers on the staff auditing which will start from tomorrow Tuesday 12th November and Wednesday 13th November 2024.

Speaking inclusively in the maiden meeting were the Director General Services and Administration, Mrs. Soberu Funmilayo and Mrs. Racheal Siwoku; Director Finance and Supplies urged the workers to make themselves available for the Staff Auditing nevertheless charged the staff on the readiness to improve on the Internally Generated Revenues, that soonest Revenue Enforcement Task Officers would be formed and all Departments personnel would be involved; as they know that all workers in the LG are Revenues Collectors.

Other Directors/ Head of the Departments/ Unit Head in attendance were: Sanitarian Ige Samuel; Director Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation, Mr. Oyebade Micheal, Head of the Department Agric and Natural Resources, Engr. Junaid SAHEED; Head of the Department Works and Housing, Mr. Oguntoyinbo Babatunde, Head of the Department Budget, Planning, Research and Statistics, Mrs Ronke Adekunle; Head of the Department Community Development and Social Welfare and Alhaja Afusat Olasunkanmi Olalekan; Department of Information, Education, Sports ably represented by Mr. Rotimi Fagbire, Clerk of the House; Mr. Faremi Niyi Olusola, Internal Auditor, Alhaja Zainab Faleye and Chief Accountant, Mrs Oluwatosin Ogunba.
