OBASHIP IN OGUNMAKIN: "HE IS OUR GREAT GRAND SON FROM OWU KINGDOM NOT A FORIEGNER - ELDEST, INDIGENES VEHEMENTLY CLEARED THE WAVE"

Chief (Mrs) Musili Oduwole ( Nee Ogunmakin), Kehinde Salawu (Great grand Son of Ogunmakin) and Chief Kolawole Sanyaolu have vehemently cleared the matter about Ogunmakin Obaship that Abdulramoni Ayinde Adeshile Busari is the great grand Son of Ogunmakin from Araromi Homestead whose progenitor is souced from Owu Kingdom and in extention, he is a great-great grand Son of Chief Bisiriyu Ogunmakin in Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Ogun State.

Caveattimesonline newspaper corespondent, Mr. Ibrahim Metilo was in Owu Kingdom on Sunday 9th June, 2024 in clarity of who will ascend his forefather throne as concern the Ogunmakin Obaship tussle. And according to the Eldest at Ago Owu Araromi Clan, Chief (Mrs.) Oduwole (Nee Ogunmakin) said the ancestor of Chief Abdulramoni Ayinde Adeshile Busari in whom all Ogunmakin offsprings have agreed on to be the next Olu Ogunmakin Town after demise of Oba James Sodiya is been picked by Ifa Oracle. Explained further that Chief Busari is a chief "Bajiki of Owu Kingdom and a great grand Son of Bisiriyu Ogunmakin.

That, the genealogic procreation started with her forefathers called Adekalu Asipa in Owu Kingdom, Asipa begat Akinwunmi, Akinwunmi begat Bisiriyu Ogunmakin. Enunciated that, Ogunmakin was a hunter and in the cause of his chosen career, he later dwelled in a land area in Obafemi-Owode Local Government and that land today is called "OGUNMAKIN " named in his name even when he was still alive.

That, Ogunmakin himself married to three wives and these wives could not born male child to Ogunmakin whereby all of his wives had female Children. She said one of the wives of Ogunmakin begat Iyanade, Iyanade begat Omolayajo, Omolayajo born Busari and Busari now begat to Chief Abdulramoni Ayinde Adeshile Busari meanwhile, Mrs. Oduwole however warned the Family led by Adeyemi Ogunmakin and Kazeem Ogunmakin that they should steer clear from their ancestral name ( OGUNMAKIN) that their own  forefather is from Ilepa and there is written document stipulated that they should have nothing to do with Ogunmakin land for they are just great-great grand children of Ogunmakin younger's brother overtly reiterated that they should stop parading themselves as Ogunmakin descendants.

On the side of Chief Kehinde Salawu( Great-great grand Son of Ogunmakin) in his own response challenged them to come to their progenital source in Ago-Owu Araromi Clan in Owu Kingdom where they flooded from; proceeded further that when last did they come to visit their wellhead in Owu? clearly said, the candidate presented by the core Ogunmakin offsprings always visit both Owu Kingdom and Ogunmakin in whom he has done various of achievements in the duo belonging Town and Village.

He added, "That was what you did when  Adeshile contested with  the late Kabiesi, Oba James Sodiya and in your cunning manner and dishonesty allowed late Kabiesi, Oba Sodiya to be King by force who was from Ijesha; this time around, you will be disallowed for the ancestor through Ifa Oracle has spoken and it has eventually spoken in favour of Chief Abdulramoni Ayinde Adeshile Busari, it spoke"EJI-OGBE", Chief Salawu narated.

In the same vein, Chief Kolawole Sanyaolu, the Asipa Araromi Town in Owu Kingdom said by native law and customs and by law, Chief Busari is a bonafide Owu Kingdom and at a stretch, he is one of the great, great grand Son of Ogunmakin who had his Primary School Education at Ogunmakin in Obafemi-Owode Local Government and he is entitled to the throne for he is a direct descendant of Ogunmakin offspring which is evident in his hometown in Abeokuta sourced in Ago-Owu Araromi Clan. He as well challenged the opposition to come out and prove him wrong in Owu Kingdom.
