DONOR GIVES OUT CASH TO VICTIMS OF RAINSTORM AT MOWE MARKET, AMB. OGUNSOLA SUPPORTS THE LARGESSE


Chief Nurudeen Aina Alowonle has donated N500m (Five Hundred Million Naira) to Igbos  who were inflicted by an electric shock caused by rainstorm in Mowe area of Obafemi-Owode Local Government while Ambassador Ogunsola Lanre Adesina supported the trait, doled out cash to subsidize the hospital bill.


You would recall in April 24,2024 there was a report of sudden incident at Mowe Market where some families were thrown into mourning as a result of an electric shock, caused by heavy rainfall which immediately drew attention of Amb. OGUNSOLA, FCPA Council Chairman OOLG to the disastrous scene.

Amb. Ogunsola in his address said the money given to the victims is meant to support the hospital bills. However, advised the beneficiary to ensure that the fund is spent on the expected course.

He, for a second time, urged those who are trading or erected shops extension under high- tension cables to remove it on or before seventh day given to them. And if they refused, they will all face full enforcement of taskforce in the LG.

Mr. Uchena Ubani, Leader of Igbo Community, Mowe Market, who received the cash on behalf of his people thanked the government for rescuing them at the trying time.

He further appreciated the support of free medical attention received from the LG Chairman, Amb. Ogunsola for the affected victims and families that lost their loved ones, he assured them the order pronounced by government would be adhered and complied with, in the market.

Other members of Igbo community at the Mowe market present at the presentation of cash donation includes, Ikechukwu Ugwi, Chairman, Igbo People, Mowe Market, Chief Kayode Tosin among others,who expressed satisfaction on the chairman prompt intervention.
