OGUN STATE LG PROGRESSIVE CICS MEMBERS CELEBRATE RTD LG PERMANENT SECRETARY IN GRAND STYLE

Established Ogun State Local Government Progressive Cooperative Investments & Credits Society (CICS) has lauded the retired Permanent Secretary of Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, Dr. Adeolu Oluseun Olufowobi, saying he is a compassionate and seasoned administrator who is always interested in the promotion  and success of all members of staff in the Local Government Service.
This was made known by the President of the Society, Mr. Quadri Ayodele Monday 22nd April, 2024 during an interactive Zoom session with the outgone PS and other members of the Cooperative, that his years in the LG Service was a successful tenure that ensured the elevation of most members  of staff in the Service, which was as a result of his dedication to service, compassion and integrity.
The ceremony which was held at the Balogun Adesoye Hall Molipa Road, Ijebu- Ode was honoured by prominent people within and outside the State.
Dr. Olufowobi was born into the family of Pastor and Mrs. Emmanuel Adekunle Olufowobi of Agbodu Compound in Porogun Quarters of Ijebu- Ode in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State on 25th April, 1964. He started work with the Ogun State LGS in July 1990 as a Medical Officer and had worked in various LG of the State as a Medical Officer of Health before rising to the post of Chief  Consultant GL17 in 2007 and later appointed as the Head of Local Administration GL17 in July 2014.
He was appointed as the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission on 17th October, 2021 by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON.
Mr.Ayodele, President, Ogun State LG CICS added that his exceptional leadership is worthy of emulation  and prayed that God would give him peace and sound mind as he takes steps into retired life
The event was attended by dignitaries, public servants, Royal Fathers, families and friends.
