Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, Executive Chairman Obafemi- Owode Local Government today Tuesday 30th of April, 2024 bagged the "Best Performing Local Government Executive Chairman award" at Nigeria Labour Congress Secretariat beside Ibadan Distribution Company Ogun State Chapter (IBDC).
The award, according to Ogun NLC Chairman, Com. Segun Benco was designed to recognize and showcase the significant achievements of the Council Chairman, Amb. Ogunsola which are visibly ensured in the Area such as: road rehabilitations, drilling of Boreholes in various villages/communities, provision of transformers and deserved security outfits within the LGA
Further said the award occasion was as well a testament to the enduring spirit of excellence and selfless commitment to public service that has defined the LGA through the dedication to various works of Amb. Ogunsola led Administration.
Amb. Ogunsola who is known for his quality leadership through service delivery to the LGA was said his administration and accountability are incomparable since he assumes office and these deserved to be emulated.
Amb. Ogunsola while talking to Ogun State Television crew and other reporters at the event appreciated the gesture, he applauded the stride of the State NLC for the recognition of the meritorious feat, while dedicating the award to his people of the LGA; expressed his happiness and satisfaction with the recognition.
He, however, urged the LGA residents to continue to support his administration and the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, FCA by contributing their quota to the development of Ogun State.
Among others who received the Meritorious award were: Mr. Tokunbo Talabi; Secretary to Ogun State Government, Com. Kehinde O. Onasanya; Ogun State Head of Service and the likes.
