OGUN ASSPON: ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL PRINTERS OF NIGERIA OGUN CENTRAL MOVES TO TACKLE QUACKERY, BEGS GOVERNMENT TO PATRONIZE LICENCED MEMBERS

The Chairman, Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria in Ogun Central who is also a  member of Chattered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON), Pastor Olubode Makinde; Mcippn has stated that the Association would commence plans to remove out fake and unqualified printers in Ogun State, implored the State Government to support  and patronize their handworks within instead of taking it to other neighboring States or Countries, further stated that the members are heired with sophisticated machines/equipments that will bring out expectant and desired qualities of the State Government.
Speaking on Smash FM 88.1 on Sunday night that the noble Association is set to clampdown on the uncertified members after its 2024 printers' week in which its grand finale shall be this week Thursday 7th March, 2024 where lots of dignitaries in the State and extension are invited.
Pastor Makinde, however, advised all printers, shop owners, affiliate members in Ogun State to as a matter of unavoidable condition register with the Association so that their names will be captured in the dossier as said by him, that no uncertified member shall be given free hand tool to operate without license, ASSPON valid Certificate and Identity Card.
He called on the Government and Organized bodies to distance or break their dealings with them; for their operations are aiming of making quick source of income. ASSPON Chairman Ogun Central later decried their selfish partnership as not only untendered but to assail the efficiency of the profession of the ASSPON in the State.

In the Radio program, Pastor Makinde reiterated, said,  the State Government should come to their aid by supporting the Association in terms of patronage, affirmed that since the establishment of the ASSPON, even in the State, the Association is being paying their levies into the coffer of Ogun State Government.
