AMB. OGUNSOLA STARTS SECOND PHASE OF GRADING OF ROADS, PROMISES MORE PROJECTS

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, FCPA, has approved the commencement of the second phase of grading of roads across twelve wards of the Council Area.

The Council Boss made the declaration through the Head of Department, Works and Housing, Engr. Yusuf Oseni, that, grading exercise according to the release, would kick start at harmony Estate, Laderin and later move to Agbopa and others.

Recalled that the council had graded over 100 kilometers of roads across wards to reduce the hardship of the road users within the communities. He assured the residents that the grading of roads would be done without entertaining sentiment coupled with  construction  of new schools, sinking of more boreholes and others in few Months.

Ogunsola further said that this would enhance easy transportation of goods and services, particularly farm products to be ferried to various markets equally  for easy movement during the Christmas and New Year festivals.

Pledged his commitment towards delivery of equal dividends of democracy across sectors of government in the Council Area, nevertheless appealed to people to pay their taxes, levies and dues to the coffers of the local government in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy

In the same vein, Hon. Noah Aliu, Special Adviser on Road and Rural Development assures adequate supervision and quality delivery of road gradings  seeks the cooperation of all.

  

The Chairman Community Development Association CDA Harmony Estate Mrs. Bolanle Olaniyi further expressed happiness and appreciations to the Council Chairman therefore prayed for God to continue to bless the Council Chairman with wealth and wisdom.
