In what can be described as an ambience of special installation, it was celebration galore as friends, family and dignitaries drawn from different walks of like gathered to shower encomium on the Real Estate Developer and Expert, Prince Dr. Adedipe Dauda Ewenla as he becomes the Balogun and his wife was installed as the Yeye Ewa of Wasinmi Egba in Lagos State, Nigeria on the 25th of November, 2023.
Politicians, business associates, elites and allies all thronged the Palace of Adewale Adeboun Shobitan, The Baale of Wasinmi Egba to witness the installation of the newest Balogun and Yeye Ewa of Wasinmi Abule Egba, Lagos State.
With each taking their turns to comment on the attributes of the new Balogun and his wife, dignitaries all admitted that the installation was worth their time.
Adorned in a decent apparel, the New Balogun of Wasinmi Abule—Egba, Prince (Dr). Adedipe Dauda Ewenla expressed his sincere gratitude to all present, while giving special accolades to his wife who he described as “Mother, Friend and Confidant”.
Adewale Adeboun Shobitan, The Baale Wasinmi Egba Kingdom-Abule Egba Lagos, while speaking with our correspondent said, that the Title of Balogun of Wasinmi is not just for anybody or honorary Title but for the indigen of Wasinmi Egba Kingdom-Abule Egba and that is the reason he is installing the son of the soil, Prince Amb (Dr) Adedipe Dauda Ewenla.
In his vote of thanks, Ewenla appreciated the Community and Wasinmi chieftaincy for giving him what he deserves.
In the same vein, Yeye Ewa Chief Mrs Adedipe Modupe Oyinlola also appreciated the Community and Wasinmi chieftaincy for giving her the Title and promised not to disappoint them in any way.
Perhaps one of the high points of the event was Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla seeing himself featuring his wife in a duet as they sang along and came in with another song following the interlude from Fuji musician who played exciting music while the guest dance to their heels.
