ASLG: MAJEKODUNMI CHARGES ELECTED NULGE OFFICER FOR SERVICE DELIVERY

With a joyful mood and peaceful atmosphere, the Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP has charged the newly elected Branch NULGE Executives in the Local Government to be diligent, responsive and active in service delivery to the NULGERIANS.

Hon Majekodunmi was of praise to God and the entire workforce of the Local Government, for the success of the election as well as the peaceful conduct of the electorates before, during, and after the election. 

The NULGE election took place at the Council Secretariat, Ake, on Thursday, 2nd of November, 2023, witnessed a massive turn out, as people came out en mass to cast their votes for their preferred candidates regardless of the sunny atmosphere.
Thanking the State Executive Members for the conduct of a peaceful, free and fair election, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Majekodunmi advised the  elected officers to see their victory as a call to service, while admonishing the other contestants who did not win to give their unflinching support to Omidiji-led administration and never to see themselves losers but victorious, for they are part of the success story of the election.

The immediate past Caretaker Chairman, Comrd. Titilayo Bankole appreciated the Chairman of the Council, his Cabinet, the Legislative Arm, the HOLGA, the State body of the NULGE, and every staffer of the LG for the support the Caretaker Committee received during their tenure, pleaded that such should be extended to the new administration.
While thanking the NULGERIANS in Abeokuta South Local Government, the Newly Elected NULGE Chairman, also appreciated the Council Chairman, the HOLGA, Mr Wole Adeosun, State President of NULGE, Comrd Adebayo Adefesobi JP for their fatherly roles in making the day a success. Comr. Omidiji then called on his co-contestants and others to join hands with the new NULGE officers to ensure successful tenure.
Comrd. Olusola Olawale Omidiji got 266 votes, Comrd Olukayode Falola got 134 votes and Comrd Micheal Akiobu got 8 votes; Comrd. Olusola Olawale Omidiji eventually emerged as the NULGE Branch Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government.
