FORUM OF SLGs IN OGUN STATE CONGRATULATES GOV. ABIODUN ON HIS VICTORY AT TRIBUNAL

The forum of Secretaries to the Local Government (SLG) in Ogun State has Congratulated the Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun (OON) on the verdict of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which struck out the petition filed by Ladi Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and upheld the election of Governor Dapo 

The submission was made during their monthly meeting (October edition) hosted by the Secretary to the Local Government of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon Olamide Fasola and was presided over by the Chairman of the forum Prince Kolawole  Onalaja (Secretary to Sagamu Local Government ).

The gathering lauded the tribunal judges for treating the petitions on their merits which confirmed Prince Dapo Abiodun the winner of Ogun State Governorship election slated for Saturday March 11, 2023 described the verdict and position of the judgements as significant developments in the State and grassroots

Nevertheless appreciated the Governor for his approach to grassroot development through the Local Government.

The forum also congratulated  recently sworn in Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy affairs in Ogun State, Hon Ganiyu Hamzat wished him a successful tenure in office.
