ASLG: HON MAJEKODUNMI EULOGIZES BAR. ONABANJO ON OGUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE WEEK

Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has eulogized the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission Barrister. Olivia Olubunkola Onabanjo, and the brains behind the Maiden Edition of *The 2023 LGS Week*, which will commence on *Friday 10th November to Thursday 16th November 2023.*

Hon Majekodunmi stated that The Local Government Service Week, which has been Christened *The Renewed Local Government Service* is believed to give Local Governments in Ogun State a new beginning in service delivery by its crop of professionals in line with the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the Service.

The Premier Local Government Chairman, assures the Chairman of the Commission,  Full-time Commissioners,  Permanent Secretary, and Directors in the Commission of the unflinching support of his administration towards the success of the Week.

He enjoined all members of staff both unified and non unified to be actively involved in the various activities of the one-week runs of the programme.

According to the circular released, the LGS Week will commence on:

FRIDAY 10th NOVEMBER, 2023 - The LGSC will feature in a New Dawn program on OGTV by 7:45 am, while a Jumat Service will take place at the Federal Secretariat Central Mosque, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. 

SUNDAY, 12TH NOVEMBER, 2023 – 10:00 a.m. – There will be a thanksgiving Service at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Bonojo, Ijebu-Ode

On MONDAY, 13TH NOVEMBER, 2023  by 10:00 a.m.. There will be a Medical Outreach/Charity Programme at the 

Family Health Centre, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta

Leslie Health Centre, Ilaro

Italapo Health Centre, Ijebu-ode and 

Makun Health Centre, Sagamu.

TUESDAY, 14TH NOVEMBER, 2023 – 10:00 a.m. There will be a Public Lecture at the Oba's Complex, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

WEDNESDAY, 15TH NOVEMBER, 2023 – 9:00 a.m, A Road Show Walk from Oke-Mosan to Abeokuta

South Local Government, Ake, and back to the Local        Government Service Commission Oke-Mosan

By 2:00 p.m., there will be a Novelty Match between the Male Political Functionaries/Career Staffers and Female Political Functionaries /Career Staffers of the Local Governments at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.

THURSDAY, 16TH NOVEMBER, 2023 is for the Award and Gala night at DLK Events Centre. 

The Red Carpet will commence by noon, while the Award of Excellence will also start by 2:00 p.m.
