ODEDA LG PROCURES DRUGS, WORTH MILLIONS OF NAIRA

Odeda Local Government Council in Ogun State, in its effort to boost health facilities, has provided drugs worth millions for the Health Centres in the Area.

Delivering the drugs facilities today Wednesday 13th September 2023, the Council Chairman,  Hon. (Dr.) Mrs. Waliat Folashade Adeyemo disclosed that the move was aimed to assist the health posts in the 10 wards of the Local Government

Area. Stated that her administration would continue to give priority to the health of the people in the Council Area for an adage says: "Health is Wealth".  she made this known during the distribution of newly purchased drugs to the health centres across the Ten (10) wards in the Local Government.

Hon. Adeyemo hence urged the Primary Healthcare Department to make judicious use of the drugs to improve the health status of the dwellers and to rededicate themselves to duty

Director of Primary Health Care (PHC), Dr Olanloye Aawal Oladimeji expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the drugs, nonetheless promised that the drugs would be put into use as statutorily expected by the Local Government Council.
